This role is for a 12 month contract with potential to become permanent.

Job requirements

  • Line manage members of the finance team, including a range of qualifications and experience.

  • Cash flow management

  • Monthly reporting to the board including reviewing accounts, preparing the board pack and developing full monthly MI

  • Financial forecasting - scenario based financial modelling

  • Developing operational and financial KPI dashboards

  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and involvement in product costing and labour recovery projects

  • Developing systems and enhancing financial reporting and forecasting capabilities

  • Developing and maintaining strong financial controls and reviewing software and system improvements

  • Involvement in large projects across finance and the wider business

  • Regular meetings with the Heads of Business to provide financial insight and analysis.

  • Lead on the preparation of the statutory financial statements and working papers, including being a key point of contact with External Audit throughout the year-end process

  • Oversee the preparation and completion of various period-end balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals

  • Monitor aged creditors and aged debtors, on a regular basis, ensuring that all balances are relevant and correct

  • Process payroll through our external payroll providers.

  • Support HR with any pension, benefit, payroll or other queries.

  • Supporting the Finance Director and CEO with any information required.

  • Support the onboarding process of new businesses into the group.

  • Any other adhoc need to support and grow the businesses across the group.
